Back to School Supplies, South Houston, TX
A total of 20 volunteers donated much needed school supplies to more than 100 children in low-income communities severely impacted in the aftermath of hurricanes and the pandemic in Beaumont, Texas and Lake Charles, Louisiana.
Hurricane Ida Disaster Relief, South-Central Region
The National Disaster Relief Team (NDRT), along with the volunteers from the Sri Sathya Sai Centers across the South-Central Region, procured and delivered water, canned food, toiletries and hygiene products to several areas around New Orleans, Louisiana following the destruction inflicted by Hurricane Ida. The NDRT continues to identify ways to support the affected communities over the coming months.
Service as a Way of Life, Mid-Central Regional Retreat
The Mid-Central Region of SSSIO-USA held a virtual retreat on the theme “Service as a Way of Life”, focused on making service an integral part of one’s life. Attendees listened to an inspiring speaker and engaged in discussions on how to increase their engagement in service.
Sai Spiritual Education Summer Camp 2021, Mid-Central Region
Young Adults and older SSE children of the Mid-Central Region organized an interactive virtual summer camp filled with fun value-based activities for the younger SSE children.
