Service Initiatives during COVID-19 pandemic

With the arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic, Sathya Sai Centers across the US have adapted their service projects in order to continue serving society while complying with the COVID-19 precautions and restrictions. Among other initiatives, SSIO-USA members have embarked on the production of masks and PPE for medical and essential workers and vulnerable populations.

National Devotion Activities during the pandemic

During the COVID-19 pandemic, most centers transitioned to online devotional programming. The SSIO-USA Devotion Wing implemented two national initiatives – the daily chanting of the Gayatri and an online inspirational series, Unite and Uplift. The series featured different speakers, various panels and musical sessions aimed to inspire faith and provide solace by reinforcing Sai’s message and uplift everyone’s spirit during this difficult time.

Fostering SSE students' spirituality during the pandemic

The Education Wing of the Sathya Sai International Organization (SSIO) – USA implemented various national initiatives designed to strengthen Sai Spiritual Education (SSE) students' spiritual connection with God, family, and the community while they shelter-in-place during the COVD-19 pandemic.
