The Sri Sathya Sai Center of Boulder, CO, has taken on a monthly project of preparing and delivering peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to the residents of the Boulder Shelter for the Homeless, in addition to their regular feeding service. This allows the shelter to provide an extra meal it would, otherwise, not have been able to provide.

Forest Restoration, Lake Washington, WA

Members of the Sri Sathya Sai Center of Lake Washington, WA, led by SSE teachers, have been partnering with the Mercer Island Parks Department. They carry out a monthly forest restoration project that involves removing invasive species and bringing back native trees and shrubs.

The Sri Sathya Sai Center in St. Louis celebrated its golden jubilee with an inspiring day-long program filled with uplifting devotional singing, stories of personal experiences of devotees, and a recounting of the Center’s history over five decades. The presentation also included various community services projects such as feeding the homeless and the elderly, SSSEHV, and free medical camps. More importantly, Sai devotees reflected on the vital and transformational role the Center has played in their own spiritual journey.

A devotee reflects on her spiritual growth, without the support and synergy of being part of a Sai Center. Through a golf coaching program that she and her husband became involved in, she comes to the beautiful realization that with intense yearning, Sai will send one many service opportunities to put into practice His values, and that the true Sai Center resides within one’s heart.
