The Sri Sathya Sai Organization of USA is a non-denominational, voluntary organization of over 200 centers located in all 50 states and coordinated by the Sri Sathya Sai Council of America established in 1975. It is part of the Sri Sathya Sai International Organization (SSSIO) based in 126 countries. Its members come from all faiths and share a common purpose: to reach the ultimate goal of realization of their innate divinity by practicing love, self reflection, and selfless service.

The members of the Sri Sathya Sai Organization of USA strive toward the transformation of the heart through the expression of love in action, and join with members in over 2000 centers around the world in practicing the inspiring lessons of Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Membership is free and open to all.

Sri Sathya Sai Centers in the USA provide a space for spiritual meetings of like-minded individuals, a communion of god-desiring people of all faiths. The goal of participation is ultimately the transformation of self and society. In Sai Centers sincere seekers, students of spirituality and service-minded volunteers gather for spiritual singing, devotional spiritual activities, participation in community service activities, and to study the teachings of Sri Sathya Sai Baba.

Blankets for Pets: Seattle, WA

Sai Spiritual Education children from the Sri Sathya Sai Center of Seattle Eastside made 25 warm blankets for animals at a local Humane Society. The older children, with the help of the parents, put together several blanket-making kits, held demonstration sessions and shared video tutorials, so the children could take home the kits and make the blankets during the winter break.

Revitalizing A Community Garden: Phoenix, AZ

Members of the Sri Sathya Sai Groups of Greater Phoenix and Prescott, AZ observed Avatar Declaration Day by joining together with a deep sense of community spirit and environmental responsibility to revitalize the Mountain View Community Garden in Phoenix, AZ. They weeded and prepared the grounds to grow fresh produce, repaired broken irrigation lines and reorganized the sheds.

South-Central Region Health Screening Camp: Beaumont, TX

The South-Central Region of the Sri Sathya Sai International Organization (SSSIO)-USA partnered with the India Association of Southeast Texas, Beaumont, TX to arrange a health screening camp at the India Cultural Center on December 16, 2023. Five doctors and 30 SSSIO volunteers, many of whom traveled from Houston, Austin and Dallas to Beaumont, served 60 guests from the Greater Beaumont community, including several students from India.

Beanie Project: Milwaukee, WI

Members of the Sri Sathya Sai Center of Milwaukee, WI came together every week to knit 120 beanies for the 98th birthday of Sri Sathya Sai Baba and distributed them to the homeless in six local area shelters. The beanies were gratefully received as they provided warmth during the harsh winter.

Feeding the homeless on the streets: Sai Prema Nilayam, Riverside, CA

Every Saturday about 10-15 Sai volunteers from Sai Prema Nilayam, Riverside, CA, assemble and pack 108 food items such as sandwiches, fruits, snack packs, and water. The volunteers disperse throughout the downtown area and parks to seek out and personally deliver the food packs to homeless individuals.

Health Fair at North Bergen Public Library: New Jersey

The SSSIO-USA Mid-Atlantic Region held a free health fair at the North Bergen public library in New Jersey on December 9 2023. The fair was organized in collaboration with local hospitals and more than 20 social agencies that provided valuable health information and resources. The fair served more than 380 guests, and provided them with free basic health screening, consultations with medical doctors, free eye testing and eyeglasses, meditation and yoga classes.

Feeding the homeless at Brother Benno’s Center: Oceanside, CA

Members of the Sri Sathya Sai Center of North San Diego, CA prepare and deliver care packages and sandwiches every month to Brother Benno’s Center which distributes them to the homeless. In addition, for Christmas, they donated 20 blankets.
